KSP Fulfillment Breaking Ground on New Third-Party Logistics Facility
–Company Positions for Future Growth Post-Pandemic–
FRIDLEY, Minn. – February 24, 2021 – KSP Fulfillment, a leading third-party logistics company, located in Fridley, Minn., is expanding its operations and building a new facility in Brooklyn Park, Minn. to accommodate current and future growth. Construction will break ground in April and be complete in November.
“Many of our customers have achieved tremendous growth through partnering with KSP Fulfillment,” stated President and Founder John Gamache. “The new operational footprint positions us well to meet the needs of our current customer base and prepare for future growth post-pandemic. We anticipate fulfilling customer orders from the new facility in January 2022.”
Located at 5100 Main Street NE, Suite 1100, Fridley, Minn., KSP Fulfillment has 56,000 square feet. The company will be utilizing a temporary facility located in North Park III in Brooklyn Park, Minn., in the interim.
The new facility will be located in NorthPark V at 8100 Oxbow Creek Drive, Suite 190, Brooklyn Park, Minn., and include 182,000 square feet. “In addition to more pallet storage, the new facility will be a state-of-the-art operation,” stated Rob Walters, Chief Executive Officer. “We’ve intricately designed the facility to reduce receiving and order processing times, increase speed time-to-market, all while providing technology capable of real-time order visibility for our customers.”
KSP Fulfillment has partnered with Cushman & Wakefield and Scannell Properties for brokerage, construction, and leasing. “Through working with our partners, we selected the NorthPark V industrial location for its financial and geographical benefits,” stated Mr. Walters. “This location is near Interstates 494 and 694 and all major logistics carriers, has potential for future growth and is only eight minutes from our current location reducing the transition timeline. Also, there is a fantastic labor market available, as we anticipate hiring 50-100 employees,” concluded Mr. Walters.
