What Is KSP Fulfillment?

KSP Fulfillment is a veteran-owned third-party logistics (3PL) company at 8100 Oxbow Creek Dr in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. It receives, stores, kits, picks, packs and ships inventory for ecommerce and retail brands, and runs DTC orders, Amazon FBA prep and EDI retail freight from one inventory. U.S. Marine Corps veterans John Gamache and Rob Walters founded the company in February 2012 as Kitting Solutions Plus, which is where the KSP name comes from.
The services: order fulfillment for DTC and B2B, kitting and assembly on a dedicated 50,000 sq ft floor, multi-carrier shipping with a 2:00 PM CST same-day cutoff, and integrations with Shopify, Amazon, Walmart and SPS Commerce EDI. Every one of them runs out of the same building, on the same inventory, with the same account manager.

From Kitting Solutions Plus to KSP Fulfillment

KSP Fulfillment started as a kitting company. Kitting still has its own floor, next to a fulfillment operation that has shipped 32.1 million orders.

How KSP Runs Your Orders

Orders go wrong at a 3PL when nobody in the building owns them. Each of these is built so somebody always does.

Account managers 30 feet from the floor

Your account manager sits 30 feet from the warehouse floor. When a count looks off or an order needs to change, they walk to the aisle and fix it. Discrepancies are resolved in 10 minutes on average.

Every associate can stop the line

KSP runs statistical process control (SPC) on the floor. Any associate who spots a damaged item, a wrong barcode or a bad label stops the line and starts a corrective action before the order ships.

Every pick is scanned

Associates scan every unit against the order while 60 Locus robots carry the totes. Pick and order accuracy runs 99.999%.

One inventory for every channel

DTC orders, Amazon FBA prep and EDI retail freight pull from the same stock. Target, Walmart and Costco rollouts run through SPS Commerce EDI without splitting your inventory across warehouses.

Kitting since day one

KSP has built 20.9 million kits. Gift sets, subscription boxes, retail displays and multi-part builds come together on a dedicated 50,000 sq ft kitting floor.

Lot, expiry and serial control

The WMS captures lot numbers, expiration dates and serial numbers where your product needs them, so a recall or a dated SKU traces back to the orders it shipped in.

Our Brooklyn Park, Minnesota Fulfillment Center

Every KSP order ships from one building at 8100 Oxbow Creek Dr in Brooklyn Park, just northwest of Minneapolis.
Orders received by 2:00 PM CST leave the dock the same day and reach any U.S. address in 1–3 days by ground. One central building covers the country, so your inventory never gets split across regional warehouses.

The building is climate-controlled throughout and FDA-registered. Logiwa WMS runs inventory and orders, alongside warehouse execution, transportation and labor management systems and the Locus robot fleet. Labor, dock, project and ticket tracking run on software from KSP Technologies, LLC, a separate company whose warehouse operations tools were built and proven on this floor.

Security is professionally monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year: electronic door access, motion detection alarms, 90-day DVR CCTV, secured dock doors and controlled employee and visitor entry, in a floor-to-ceiling secure facility.

Giving Back to Minnesota Veterans

KSP started KSP Gives Back, now Minnesota Quiet Valor: a 501(c)(3) that provides mobility scooters to Minnesota veterans and their spouses, run from the same Oxbow Creek address as the warehouse.

The team raises money for Folds of Honor too. An Indian Scout Bobber raffle raised $25,000 for Folds of Honor Minnesota, and CEO Josh Haynes rode an Iron Butt endurance challenge that raised more than $11,000 more.
