LPN.....just another warehouse acronym, right?  Well, yes, but still very important!  An LPN (license plate number) is a unique identifier assigned to product within a warehouse storage location.  The LPN holds product attributes for those items.  Attributes may include but are not limited to dimensions, weight, case pack, quantity, serial numbers and/or lot codes and allows for stream-lined inventory movement.  In honor of our friend, the LPN, we're sharing this poem with you.

In a bustling fulfillment center, so vast and grand, lived Lenny the LPN, a storage location, quite bland. Surrounded by pallets, stacked high and low, but alas, poor Lenny had none of his own.

He longed for a friend, a product to call his home, but in his empty space, he felt quite alone. "Where are my neighbors?" he cried out in dismay, but the silence around him seemed here to stay.

The items nearby, they chatted and laughed, but Lenny's corner was quiet and daft. "I wish for a buddy," he whispered with a sigh, but his plea seemed to vanish into the sky.

Then one sunny day, amidst the hustle and bustle, a quirky cardboard appeared, ready to hustle. "I'm Cardboard!" it exclaimed, with a cheerful grin, "And I'm here to make your storage life less thin!"

Lenny's circuits buzzed with joyous delight, for finally, a companion in his sight! They danced and they joked, oh, what a pair, Cardboard and Lenny, a duo so rare.

Together they laughed, in their storage domain, no longer alone, they could entertain. So if you visit a fulfillment center, be sure to say hi, to Lenny and Cardboard, under the vast warehouse sky.

As the story goes, make sure visit Lenny the LPN next time you visit a 3PL.  We'll be happy to show you what the fuss is all about!
